Well? Who's done it?

iOS 7? Anyone? Anyone taken the plunge into the no-longer-skeuomorphic design? What do you think? Have you had the chance to use it? Has it made your experience easier? Harder? Used to it already? If you've used it, let us know in the comments!

  2. I've switched to the new iOS 7 and I don't think it's too bad. It will take some getting used to because some things are moved around, but it's basically the same. I feel that it has a sleeker, cleaner look overall, but I think it's a bit too "light." When I say light, I mean that many of the icons and apps do not have enough dark contrast to differentiate between items. I've experienced a bit of eye fatigue from the lack of contrast, if that makes any sense. For example, when receiving new notifications on Facebook, they would be a different color to stand out from the ones that have already been read. Now, new notifications are colored as a light gray, which is difficult to notice at first glance.

  3. I do not own anything from Apple. I have noticed the skeuomorphic design on my fathers Iphone. It is noticeable, but I don't think it will be missed. I never cared for the magazine rack with the news. Some symbols that will probably never change on any phone will be settings, voice-mail and email. I wonder if there will be a iPhone 6 in 6 months. There was a iPhone 4,iPhone4S,Iphone5 and now an iPhone5S.

  4. I tried to place a comment on my android phone but my phone was not working with allowing me to sign in Google. I wanted to say that a family member of mine noticed that her iPhone has a new security feature and she wanted to know if I knew how to take it off. I told her she could "Google it". I then noticed how ironic it is to go to a search engine from a competitor to get an answer for a competitor. Why does Apple not have it's own search engine.

    They could call it "Ifind"

  5. iOS7 is a completely different design from the previous version. For example, it is full of color! The rainbow colors make the phone come off as more of a child-ish phone opposed to a luxury one. The ringtones are also different so the original "IPhone" ringtone is no longer the default ringtone. What I am really enjoying is the radio music option as well as the photo contrasts. The creaters wanted to go for an entirely different experience, I believe. Although they're additional functions, it is overall easy to navigate around.

  6. IOS7 I got on the bandwagon aswell. The colors are amazing to me it looks more like a Galazy phone which I will get next because the screen is bigger. One thing I noticed about my iphone is that I have been dropping my calls more and there is a pause after I call a number. Feels like it taking longer to make the connection. Other than the new design not much else to rave about.
