If it's Thursday, go to Bing right now! If it's not, click on the navigation arrows at the bottom of the Bing homepage until you see the image above. It's a great animation.
To be fair to Google, their homepage is well done today also, celebrating John Steinbeck. It doesn't beat their Pac-Man doodle, but it's still pretty neat.
It is good to be back. I have not given Bing a real shot. I guess for this class I will give it a try. I actually hate all searches except for Google. The others just can't seem to do as well as the beast of the "Google". They are no frills just strong search. Over the last few years, they have put really nice little themes. I will use bing for a day and come back and comment.
ReplyDeleteThis is most definitely a beautiful image! Is is a GIF or actual footage of these beautiful African Wild Dogs? Although I don't use Bing as often as I'd like, I do very much so enjoy all the different images and themes it displays each and every day. The "tags" on the Bing homepage images always keep me entertained as well. I enjoy learning new things I never would have known otherwise! Bing is a great educator.
ReplyDeleteI personally always use google, it's just what i've always been familiar with. I don't think i've ever used bing before. Even now to look at Bing's website I went to google and searched for Bing without even thinking about it, it's just a habit I guess.
